I frequently hear how difficult it is to save money on produce. I am going to tell you how I get free and cheap produce without clipping any coupons! The only thing you will need is your phone.
This can work at a wide range of stores so you do not have to worry if you don’t have a certain store in your area. My tips to score free produce will work at Walmart, Target, Crest, Homeland and MANY other stores!
Here are my tips to score free and cheap produce:
1. Savings Star
Every Tuesday a new Healthy Savings Star offer comes out for 20% off. This week the offer is for 20% off tomatoes. This is a great resource for items you do not see coupons for such as produce.
These offers change but they do sometimes have produce rebates. It’s worth checking out each week to save on fruits and vegetables.
3. Checkout 51
Checkout 51 frequently has rebates on produce. They have offers each week so you can constantly add new rebates to your account.
You can customize your offers and save a lot of money on fruit and veggies!
This is another great app to save on produce. Each week they have rebates to save on produce at your local grocery store.
You will definitely want to grab this app to save on fruits and veggies. Learn how to use Ibotta here.
So, you’re still a little confused as to how these apps get me free produce?
Many of these offers can be stacked. By utilizing multiple apps, I often can get free fruits and veggies.
This week we have a $.25/1 Ibotta Rebate on bananas AND we have $.10/1 banana via the Mobi App. Plus, Checkkout 51 has a $.25 cash back “Pick Your Own Offer”. Stack these 3 offers to get free bananas!!!
If one banana is roughly $.50 each, after the 3 offers the final price is FREE plus a $.10 profit to use on more produce. Yeah!
See it is that easy to get free produce!
