Yield: 1 (makes about 1/3 cup of dry shampoo)
Author: One Crazy Mom

Materials

  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Soda
  • 2 Tablespoons Arrowroot Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder optional

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl or sealed jar.  Add in the cocoa powder if you have darker hair to help hide the dry shampoo. Do not add in the cocoa powder if you have blonde or grey hair.
  • Review the color of the dry shampoo and add in more cocoa powder if needed to match your hair color as close as possible.  Gradually add in 1/2 Tablespoon of cocoa powder at a time until the dry shampoo is as close to your hair color as possible.
  • To apply, use a make up brush and dip it into the dry shampoo, carefully tap off any excess shampoo from the brush. Then carefully apply the dry shampoo to your hair parts, roots or greasy parts of your hair.
  • Let the dry shampoo sit for a few minutes for your hair to soak it up and then gently shake off any excess dry shampoo from your hair. Style hair as normal.

Notes
