Before you make the bow, you will need to make a standard scrunchie. You can get the instructions and learn how to make a scrunchie here.
Once you have your scrunchie completed, it is time to make the bow!
How to make a bow scrunchie:
Cut out the pattern with scissors. Place the pattern onto the fabric, making sure there's a fold in the center of the fabric, and pin the pattern to the fabric.
Cut out 2 bow shapes.
Place the bow shapes, right side facing each other and pin to hold together. We like to use straight pens but you can also use a safety pin if you don't have any.
Stitch around the bow, leaving about a 2" opening in the center of one side. Turn the bow right side out, using the tip of scissors to straighten the fabric.
Fold the unfinished edge under and sew shut with a machine stitch. You could also hand sew this if desired.
Tie the bow around the center seam of the scrunchie with one knot.
