What do you need to make essential oil bug spray recipe?
- 2 oz glass spray bottle
- Purification Essential Oil or Citronella Essential Oil
- Lavender Essential Oil
- Witch Hazel
- Distilled Water
How do you make natural bug repellent?
- Fill the bottle half way (approximately 1 oz) with witch hazel. You may need to use a small funnel so it doesn’t spill.
- Put approximately 10 drops of the purification oil in the bottle and 2 drops of the lavender essential oil. The lavender is for the smell, so you may use a different one if you prefer a different scent. I know that this seems like a lot of oils but you need it to be strong to keep the bugs away!
- Fill the rest of the bottle up with the distilled water.
- Shake to mix thoroughly. You will need to shake before each use as the oils have a tendency to separate.
