Ingredients
- Bergamot Essential Oil
- Frankincense Essential Oil
- Pine Essential Oil
- Fractionated Coconut Oil (Carrier Oil)
- Cologne Bottle
Step By Step Instructions
- Step 1. Add 5 drops of the Bergamot essential oil to the cologne bottle.
- Step 2. Next, add 5 drops of the Frankincense essential oil to the cologne bottle.
Step 3. Finally, add 2-4 drops of the Pine essential oil to the cologne bottle. Pine is a stronger smell so I recommend starting out with 2 drops and then adding more if you would like a stronger smell once you have tested your cologne.
Step 4. Fill the rest of the cologne jar with the fractionated coconut oil (carrier oil). You can use a small funnel, pipette or a dropper. Add the lid and shake thoroughly and then it’s ready to use.

You can also use these roller bottles if you prefer over the spray bottle. I like to use a glass bottle.
Store in a cool dark place such as a bathroom cabinet away from humidity for the fragrance to last the longest.
I usually do equal amounts of each oil that is being added to the cologne and I do not exceed 15 drops for a 2 oz bottle so the concentration level is not too strong for stronger scents. You’ll want to experiment to see what smells the best on your skin as each person is different.
Oils like peppermint are stronger and I suggest using less. Cinnamon can be a skin irritant so I would use less and with caution.
Also, you can add more of any scent after you created it to change it if needed.
The main difference is the concentration of fragrance. Eau de parfum usually has a higher concentration then eau de cologne.
Apply shortly after a warm shower or bath to make the scent last longer. The steam will open your pores to absorb the fragrance easier.
You can also add a dab of petroleum jelly on pulse points before applying cologne.
Yes, you can use a measuring cup and whisk to blend the ingredients. Then use a funnel to add to a cologne bottle if desired.
