Our family is trying our best to incorporate more natural products into our everyday routine. This diy perfume spray was a success and I’m so excited to share it with you!

Not only does it smell great, but you don’t have to worry about chemicals and extra ingredients.

Why We Love This

It is so easy to make. You will be surprised how little effort it takes. Plus, it’s a great way to make perfume while keeping everything natural.

You can choose the essential oils you love best and easily modify this to make the perfect fragrances for you. Top notes are the first impression, and the middle notes are the heart of the perfume.

Essential oils when combined with a carrier oil make an excellent perfume combination. We use Fractionated Coconut Oil with the essential oils, and it works great as a perfume.

Pro Tips

  • Equal amounts oil and perfume. I usually do equal amounts of each oil that is being added to the perfume and I do not exceed 15 drops for a 2 oz bottle.  You’ll want to experiment to see what smells the best on your skin as each person is different.
  • Try different combinations. There are so many different essential oils to try. Keep experimenting until you find your favorite. You can experiment with top notes, base notes and more to really customize the perfect natural scent. It’s so much fun to make your own signature scent.
  • Test before using. Make sure to test a small patch so you don’t have an allergic reaction or skin irritation to the formula.
