I’m all about making life easier around here. Let’s face it, life is crazy! Sports, dance, sickness, school and more can mean that dinner time gets tossed to the wayside. Take out is expensive, not healthy and truly isn’t always that quick! I’m going to share with you one little tip that has saved me so many times! I use leftover taco meat for all sorts of things! If it’s Taco Tuesday, I just make a double batch of taco meat! Easy peasy! That way I have enough meat ready for a second meal during the week or the next week. Plus, it freezes so well! I even make my own taco seasoning. It’s so easy and saves a ton of money. Plus, I know exactly what is going in the mix. I make a big batch and have it ready whenever I need it.

You can add beans and cheese and roll them up. These can even be frozen too. I make these and use heavy duty foil. They taste delicious when we pull them out of the freezer. I use these freezer organizers to stack the burritos.
2. Make Beef Quesadillas
This can’t get any more simple! Just throw in your favorite toppings with the taco meat and you are set!

We love to make a big batch of crock pot baked potatoes and set out a topping bar. You can also microwave the potatoes if you prefer. Taco meat, cheese, sour cream, green onion and more make a hearty baked potato meal! This is good for parties as well.

There are so many ideas to use up taco meat. Whether you have extra in the freezer or leftovers from the night before, lots of meals can be made! Choose one or several that you think your family will love and add them to your menu plan. We do this often for our family and also for parties! I don’t have to be stuck in the kitchen while everyone has all the fun. I just take out some of my frozen taco meat and warm it up, set out a topping bar and nachos for everyone! This is one of our go to meals that can feed a crowd and not take a lot of time or money.
