This is so pretty and just a really fun slime to make. The kids love all of the different colors and you can really make it your own. Everyone can choose the colors they love the most and make a variety of colors. The ideas are endless!
After all of the colors have been made, it is time to play with the slime for the perfect hands-on activity! The kids can twist and turn the slime into a rainbow! All of the slime colors are so bright and cheerful making this a great activity on rainy days, in the classroom or when it is just not possible to go outside and play.
Rainbow Slime Ingredients

- White Glue – We like to buy the gallon size glue to save money!
- Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue & Purple Food Coloring – Use color that you prefer
- Baking Soda – This is needed to bind the ingredients together
- Contact Lens Solution – Make sure the contact solution that you use boric acid and sodium borate listed on the ingredient list.

How To Make Rainbow Slime

Step 1: Put 1 cup of the white glue in a small mixing bowl. Add red food coloring and stir until the glue is red. We added quite a bit of the food coloring to get a vibrant color.

Step 2: Mix in ½ tsp of baking soda until well combined.

Step 3: Then slowly mix in 1 Tablespoon of the contact lens solution and stir until a slime is formed.

Step 4: Once the glue starts pulling away from the edge of the bowl and is sticking to the spoon, remove the slime from the bowl and knead with your heads until the slime is the consistency that you prefer.
- Step 5: Repeat the same process 5 additional times to make the orange, yellow, green, blue and purple slime.
