Step By Step Instructions
Step 1. In a small bowl, make the activator. Combine 2 Tsp Borax with 1 ½ Cup Warm Water.
Step 2. Mix together in a cup and set aside.
Step 3. Now, it is time to add the cup of elmer glue until you have used the gallon into the large mixing bowl.
Step 4. This is when you will dye it the color you want with either drops of food coloring or paint. We like to use acrylic paint, but you can use liquid food coloring or gel if you prefer.
Step 5. Stir the glue mixture until combined.
Step 6. Next, add the shaving foam. It does not matter how much you add but note that the more you add, the fluffiness will increase. Don’t add too many cups of shaving cream or it will be really fluffy.
Step 7. Stir until the mixture is combined.
Step 8. Finally, pour the activator by the tablespoons. Continue to add by the teaspoon until it’s the consistency you want.
Step 9. Use a spoon or spatula to stir until it’s the desired consistency and texture so it won’t make a mess.
Step 10. Remove from the bowl and continue massaging until the slime is less sticky. Continue to add the activator if needed. Just keep working with it until it is the consistency you prefer and a fluffy consistency.
Storage
I like to store the slime in a mason jar or ziploc bag to keep it fresh. You can use what you prefer.
