How to use color changing silly putty

The homemade silly putty undergoes a color transformation in response to temperature changes. We enjoy altering its color by applying ice cubes, and then restoring it to its original hue by using the warmth of our hands.

It is heat-sensitive hypercolor putty. Just use the heat of your hands. Young children can use this as a fine motor skills activity but teens will love this too. The changing colors can appear to look like twilight putty, sunburst putty and a totally new color of putty. From yellow and orange to violet and more, it is the coolest stuff.

Notes

The silly putty will change color with coldness or warmth.  We like to use ice cubes to change the color and then use the warmth of our hands to change it back since it is heat sensitive.
