What Essential Oil is Good for Dusting?

Our favorite is lemon essential oil. It leaves such a fresh citrus scent and everything smells so clean.

It isn’t overpowering and just the perfect blend in this dusting spray.

How to Use?

We use this to dust all of our wood furniture and woodwork such as baseboards.  This mixture is safe to use on wood and makes everything look shiny and beautiful!

Use microfiber cloths because they don’t leave any lint behind while cleaning! This is optional but highly suggested because it leaves such a smooth finish.

Don’t worry about the vinegar smell because it will go away.

Bottle spraying mixture on a table.

Variations

  • Apple Cider and Castile Soap. If you would rather not use white vinegar, try using apple cider vinegar and Castile Soap.  Both of these options work just as good if you prefer these ingredients.
  • Oil. Try these alternatives for Olive Oil: Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil and Jojoba Oil.
  • Essential Oil. Substitute lemon, grapefruit, tea tree oil and use lavender or orange essential oil for a different scent.
