How to store diy body wash with castile soap?
I like to use a container with a pump to make it easy to use. Our body wash is stored in a glass pump jar.
It work great!
Ingredients for diy all natural body wash:
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup Raw Honey
- 1/2 cup liquid Castille Soap
- 1 tsp Vitamin E Oil
- 10-13 Drops of Lavender Essential Oils
- Glass Pump Jar (find more glass pump jar options here.)
How do you make homemade body wash?

Now you know how to make homemade body soap!
You can try substituting olive oil or sweet almond oil for the coconut oil. Save time and money and make this easy body wash today.
Note about DIY natural body wash:
Natural body wash will not lather as much as a store bought brand. The is normal with castile soap and the body wash still works great.
If you prefer to have the suds, you can add vegetable glycerin to make it lather. This will not impact how well it cleans but I know some prefer a sudsy body wash.
How to thicken homemade body wash:
Castile soap can make your DIY body wash a little on the thin side. If you prefer a thicker body wash, you make a soap base to add to the body wash to thicken it.
Others have also had success using xanthan gum to thicken homemade body wash.
