How to make a candy card:

  1. Write your birthday message on the poster board and lay the candy out to make sure that you have enough room for the message and the candy.
  2. Once everything is laid out perfectly, tape the candies to your poster board with the double sided tape and write your message with the sharpie.
  3. That’s it!  Give it to your favorite person and watch them enjoy it!

Here is the saying that we used for our candy bar birthday card:

Dad, We were going to give you a “whopp”ing “100 grand” for your Birthday, but the money slipped through our “butterfingers”. You didn’t have an “extra” “whatchamacallit” to sell and it wasn’t “payday.” We didn’t think a pet “kit-kat”, a trip to New “York” or an “orbit” around the “milkway” would be appropriate.  We do want to wish you “mounds” or “almond joy” while you “take 5” and eat this card.  You hope it doesn’t make you “rolo”ver and get sick.  If it does, we promise not to “snickers.” Love Your Favorite (attach their favorite candy here)

Love this idea! My kids got one of these from their auntie for their shared birthday gift and they LOVED it! Thank you for showing us the wording, that’s the hardest part! I’m going to tag this on my Instagram for you – it’s GREAT! Thanks again!
