Yes! The organic coconut oil is so moisturizing for dry skin while cleansing your skin. The makeup wipes work really well to remove all traces of makeup. These work on all skin types, even oily skin. These cleaning cloths even remove waterproof mascara. Gently wipe and see it all come off!
You can substitute olive oil for the coconut oil. However, I prefer the coconut oil. I find the olive oil a bit oily and doesn’t work as well on my skin. This is a personal preference so do what works best for your beauty routine. You can also use jojoba oil for carrier oils.
We prefer coconut oil mixed with baby wash for the best homemade make up remover. It is gentle but cleans really good. Some people add witch hazel for a natural astringent as well and it acts like a toner. I do not prefer this for dry skin and aloe vera would be better.
Yes, we used lavender essential oil in our DIY Makeup Remover. It would also work be awesome in the makeup wipes as well. It smells amazing and is so calming. Lavender is so good for your skin. Rosemary is another good essential oil for skincare.
Another mild option is frankincense and tea tree oil. Tea tree oil helps with acne-prone skin and inflammation. Geranium is good for eczema.
Gently use one of the make up wipes for removing makeup. Take extra care around the eye area to avoid irritation. You never want to pull or tug on the sensitive skin around the eye when using this diy makeup remover.
Some people use just coconut oil but I prefer this DIY for makeup wipes. It’s very easy to make and even easier to use!

You can use fabric and cut into wipes or use a sewing machine. Cotton t-shirts cut into squares or even a roll of paper towels work great. If you are using fabric, place them inside a small mesh laundry bag to wash.
