What do you need for Unicorn slime?
- 6 oz Bottle of elmer Pink Glitter Glue
- 6 oz Bottle of Blue Glitter Glue
- 1 ½ tsp Baking Soda
- 6 oz Bottle of Yellow Glitter Glue
- Pink Glitter (Optional)
- Blue Glitter (Optional)
- Yellow Glitter (Optional)
- 3 Tablespoon Contact Solution (The brand of contact lens solution must contain boric acid and sodium borate. This is important and saline solution is not the same thing!!!)
How to make unicorn slime:
- Step 1. First, pour the Pink Glitter Glue in a small bowl. This is the first color in this DIY slime recipe.
- Step 2. Next, mix in baking soda ½ teaspoon at a time into the mixture. Combine until it is well blended.
- Step 3. Mix in the pink glitter to give it that extra sparkle. This is optional but really gives it so much pretty sparkle! We suggest adding a little bit at a time.
Food coloring is another option but we prefer the colored glue and glitter instead of white glue. The combination is so fun and always turns out great. However, feel free to use the method you prefer with the ingredients you have on hand.
- Step 4. Then slowly mix in 1 tbsp contact solution and stir until it interacts with the glue. Once the glue starts pulling away from the edge of the bowl, remove the slime from the bowl.
- Step 5. Knead with your heads until the slime is the consistency that you prefer. This is so much fun to work with the slime until it is the consistency that you desire.
- Step 6. Repeat the same process with the next color. Use blue and yellow glue to form 3 different colors of slime in a large bowl. Wash your hands and remove any residue from the ingredient list.
- Step 7. Play and enjoy this unicorn glitter slime. It is that easy and now you can play with the slime separately or twist them together for a new look. It is so much fun and also a great science experiment.
