Expert Tips

  • Consistency – If you find that the slime is too sticky add more Sta-Flo. This needs to be added slowly and approximately 1 teaspoon at a time until the slime is the texture that you prefer.
  • Supplies – I like to use bowls and spoons specifically set aside for making slime. I keep all of my supplies together and can reuse to make slime again.
  • Premeasure – If making with a large group of kids or classroom setting, it is easiest to premeasure all of the supplies. This will streamline making numerous batches of slime.
  • Food coloring. You can add a few drops of red food coloring or blue food coloring to the glue mixture if desired. Add as much as you want to get a darker color. I would not add too much though so it does not get on hands.
