We love 4th of July and the kids love slime. It seemed like the perfect idea to make this 4th of July Slime for a fun activity.
They enjoyed making Easter Slime so much that I decided we would make 4th of July Slime. I promise this slime is just as simple.
This can be made for a fun activity at your next July 4th party or just as a rainy day activity. The kids will love it!
How do you make Fourth of July slime?
With just a few simple slime supplies, this comes together quickly and easily. Add in a few stars and glitter to be patriotic and you are all set!

Supplies for 4th of July slime:
- 1 Cup Clear Glue
- ⅓ cup Water
- ⅓ Cup Sta-Flo Liquid Starch
- Red and Blue Glitter
- Star Confetti
How to make 4th of July slime:
Place all the ingredients until a medium size bowl. Stir until they are well combined.
When the slime starts pulling away from the edge of the bowl when stirring, remove and start working it with your hands until the slime is the consistency that you desire.
If you find that the slime is too sticky add more Sta-Flo. This needs to be added slowly and approximately 1 tsp at a time until the slime is the texture that you prefer.
It is that easy to make patriotic slime!
This 4th of July slime turns out so pretty and festive with all of the stars and glitter. It is so easy and does not call for saline solution or any baking soda.
You will have a blast making this. Feel free to add food coloring if you want to make this slime recipe even more colorful and patriotic.
