We prefer using these items to store bought products. They are so gentle on skin and work great for lots of various uses.
I have found that it also saves money because a little castile soap goes a long way in these DIY products. You can add a few drops and it really does last!
Liquid castile soap is easy to use and blends well with olive oil, vegetable oils, baking soda and more to make great DIY products. Since you use distilled water and the majority of these products are part water, it does not take much.
In many cases, you just add 1 tablespoon to so many cups of water and it really goes a long way. Of course, each product is different but they are all very budget friendly.

When we first started trying to incorporate more natural products into our lives, I only did one or two at a time.
