Let’s learn how to make an airplane out of paper!
Recently, we had to make some paper airplanes for my daughter’s stem project at school and I quickly realized that I had no clue how to make one! After a lot of trial and error while attempting multiple different ways to make a paper airplane, we found that this is the best one to make that flies great.
Supplies for diy paper airplane:
- Paper – One 8.5X11 sheet of paper
So easy! Don’t you love activities that you can do with the kiddos that are so easy? We sure do!
How to make a good paper airplane:
First, fold the paper in half length ways. I drew a line on the center crease to make it easier for the kids to see but that is optional.
Next, fold the top corners on both the right and left sides to line them up with the middle crease.
Fold the right and left folded edges again to the center of the paper.
Next fold the wings on the center crease with the folded edges on the inside.
Now fold the folded edges the opposite direction toward the center fold. You will do this on both sides of the airplane. Simple!
That’s it! I use a small about of tape to the hold the plane together but that is definitely optional!
