Do you have seashells from your beach vacation? Turn them into this adorable DIY Jellyfish Seashell craft. I often wonder what to do with all of the seashells and this is the perfect idea.

Not only does it give the kids something really fun to do but the jellyfish are adorable. No worries if you don’t have any seashells. You can pick up a bag of them at your local dollar store.

We used this pretty blue paint but your kids can really choose any color they love to make their jellyfish. I sure love projects that are simple like this and don’t break the bank.

With only a few simple supplies, this craft is simple and easy.

Supplies needed for jellyfish seashell craft:

Seashells
Light Blue Paint
Light Blue Confetti
Light Blue Curling Ribbon
Googly Eyes
Glue

How to make a jellyfish out of a seashell:

With the seashells of your choice, clean them and then paint them with light blue paint.

While they are still wet, slightly sprinkle the confetti over the seashell.

Next, cut 5 pieces of the ribbon into approximately 4 inch pieces. I curled them slightly with the scissors but this is optional. You can make the jellyfish tentacles to look however you prefer.

Then glue on the googly eyes and ribbon tentacles to your shells to finish your beautiful jellyfish! My kids love using googly eyes in craft projects. They just look so fun!
